Especially for the GA-5 tube-amp constructed adapter to use a EL90 instead auf an EL84.
The EL90 is a 6V6 but with a different pin-layout and glas-container and much smaller than a normal 6V6 which make the EL90 ideal for this kind of application.

About the chassis:

• If you want to drill the chassis by your self we recommend th Hammond Chassis 1590B (Part# ha1590b)
• If you want to use a machined chassis use the chassis 1290NS (Part# ch-1290ns). If you use this chassis you have to do two simple modifications which can be done with a rasp / file: cut-out for the dc-jack is to small and the border of the bottom must be removed at one point otherwise it will not be possible to closed the chassis if a power jack is mounted.
• Or finaly if you don’t want to do any metalwork use the Chassis 1290TTB which is already the prepared 1290NS chassis

Active, serial FX-Loop for a subsequent installation in an existing tube amplifier
The FX-Loop works with  two LND150 in the send and in the return stage. The send and return level can be adjusted to their optimal value with two potentiometers. The Loop works with the present high voltage of the amplifier.
It has two inputs for low and high signal levels.

Input Levels:
InA: 30 - 60 Vpp, max. 65 Vpp
InB: 10 - 15 Vpp, max. 18 Vpp

The FX-Loop utilize POTENTIALLY FATAL HIGH VOLTAGES.
Seek help from a competent technician if you are in any way unfamiliar with high voltage circuits.
