DMB50 ODS
in Cooperation with Howlin' Amps.
This kit was inspired by a famous Dumble ODS #102 amp owned by Robben Ford and many guitarists would say that the #102 ODS tone is 'THE Dumble' tone. Of course Robben's feel and touch plays a big part in that, but still, if you want to sound similar, this is your kit. In our opinion, this is the most representative amp that delivers the so-called 'Dumble sound'.
Our kit differs from the original design in several ways. First of all, this amp is a 50W version (100W is an option). It also has a built-in tube-driven spring reverb, which we think is a nice option. In addition, our amp has a redesigned power supply section and some minor changes in the preamp and power amp sections.
All key parts used in this kit are the same as Dumble used in his original build. By this we mean 6PS series tone caps and RN65D resistors on the plates.
We also use high quality custom made transformers that were specifically designed for Dumble style amps.

Care is necessary during construction! The voltages used in this amp are potentially fatal. This amp is NOT a beginner's project!
A successful build requires that you can read (and understand!) a schematic diagram, you know how to use various measuring devices, and you have some experience working with voltages over 60V.
