JJ developed a completly new tube which is compatible with the EL84. The difference lies in the around 25% decreased headroom. This will give you the benefit to get the often desired power amp overdrive at lower volume levels. We recommend this tube for low wattage amps to get a better sound at bedroom levels.

To get matched tubes you must order the number of tubes that you need and select the needed matching-option. For example: to get two quartet you must order 8 tubes and select the "quartet" matching. If you need a pair then order two tubes and choose the "pair" selection.
