  A miracle in your amp ! I bought a quad of Tung-Sol 6L6GC-STR for my Peavey 6505+ head, with a quad of JJ 6L6GC "Hot" special for 6505/5150. The JJ's are very aggressive, perfect for extreme Metal assaults, full of high mids and trebles with a strong attack. Clean sounds are impossible, too much brilliant and distorted. With the Tung-Sol, clean sounds are expressive and beautiful, overdrive is clear and precise, distortion is also clean, with very distinct notes, attack is perfect and harmonics jump everywhere ! These Tung-Sol are perfect for everything ! Blues, Jazz, Rock, Prog' or extreme Metal ! But always with your tone under control !
