TT Matching and Selection
Tube-Town eXtended Matching
The TT XMatching for power tubes is done in house on a computer controlled Matching & Testing System for tubes. After a burn in periode all powertubes are measured and tested with high plate voltage (e.g., ca. 500 V for EL34).
These parameters are getting measured:
- Plate current
- Gm
- Screen current
Furthermore, the tubes are getting tested for:
- Grid Leakage
- Gas
- High screen currents
Preamptubes V1-Selection
All tests are done at ca. 250 V plate voltage.
Tested parameters:
- Noise min. -75 dbV or better
- Gain
- Low Microphonics
Preamptubes Balanced Selection
All tests are done at ca. 250 V plate voltage.
Tested parameters:
- Noise min. -75 dbV or better
- Gain
- Both systems with equal gain (+/- 1%)
